The Awakened of Columbus have begun to settle after a period of unrest and upheaval. The Monarch - who ruled for almost a century with an iron fist - has passed. Rumor has it he met his end at the hands of an abyssal creature, leading many to wonder just what sort of deals he made in his time in power.

For months the city ran rampant without a power structure, sometimes defaulting to a council when problems arose, but without a head atop the beast.

After a brief period of power struggle amongst heirerarchs the city may finally have settled on one, but is a Guardian any better than the old Monarch?

After nearly losing it's grip on reality, Columbus has risen from the ashes thanks to the sacrifice of one citizen. But what sort of creature will emerge from those ashes. Is it a pheonix, or a chared and burned beast?
