on curses and gaming

In many roleplaying games, you can buy a curse type flaw. Here is where games fail to model real life.

a) in the game, the curse is always relevant to the game. In a vampire game you might be cursed so that you can never lie. Or that you always rise late. Or that everyone you feed on tastes bad. Something like that. But there's a lot more to a life than what we see in the action of the game.

b) everyone knows they're cursed. Why would you know that? Maybe if someone told you ...

IRL, I don't know if I'm cursed, or how many points this is worth on my weird sheet, but just about every time I try to go through a door, someone else is trying to go through it the other way. leaving the building. Entering the building. Bathroom (always in the bathroom) ... it's a regular thing. And I don't know if I make a "door face" or something, but I always scare the piss out of them.

How many point is that? I don't know. It impact my life daily, for sure. And it bugs the crap out of me.

How about if we add this one on: Anytime to go to the bathroom, while I'm trying to do my business normally, someone else is having the worst butt experience ever. I always sync up with the one guy in the building who is trying to pass Pythonis the World-Devourer through his colon. And Pythonis is angry and gassy. Now how much would you pay?

Or maybe that's a curse for others. Like, "every time I go to the bathroom at the same time as that Joe guy, it's like a nightmare!"

Whatever. I just felt like we had gone too long without a bathroom comment on here.
